I'm only 35 pages into the book. I have to keep putting it down because I can't stand all the grammatical errors and the all the mysoginistic comments. Worst of all, this "dude" is extremely full of himself and constantly pats himself on the back. I was looking forward to reading this so-called "book" but I don't know if I can finish it without scrubbing my brain. Waste of money.Product details

Glendon has been doing Youtube videos for years and I have learned a lot from them. This book made me laugh as well as inform and teach me at the same time.
Not a book I ever would have read but after watching a few funny YouTube videos by Glendon, I new it would be good. My instincts were right. Couldn't put it down. Glendon should be the poster child for the American dream? Have a plan, be passionate, work hard and get rich. A real slice of life. Dan
I have been watching Glendon's videos on Youtube for a couple of years now and he keeps it real. He has been buying storage lockers for years before it was even on television.
He tells some entertaining stories that you won't see on television. He writes just like he talks. If you want to know whether or not you are going to enjoy this book, go watch a couple of his videos on YouTube. If you liked them, you'll like the book.
Over my days of auction hunting as well as talking to my buddies in the industry, this is rare gem of honesty with humor in it. Not necessarily with a guide of how to do thing, but entertaining and can get your feet wet in the auction business without going to one.
Keep in mind over the course of time is how he probably had his stories. Not every locker is a gem like he said.
I'm a follower of Glendon on Youtube and I've watched most if not all of his videos. I've read a couple of his books and this one was cheap enough that I thought I'd pick it up to, even though this one was more entertaining than informative like the others. The only things I didn't like about this book is there was a couple stories that I had already heard in his videos and there were two chapters that were EXACTLY THE SAME (the chapter) about the blonde hottie at the auction. Besides those 2 things I really enjoyed this book. His stories are hilarious and at the same time there are tips and tricks that you can pick out of this book! I would recommend it to someone who has already read some of his other books and is just looking for something from him that is more on the enterataining side. If you want a book to teach you all you need to know about buying storage auction units than you should pick up his other books first!
This is the spawn of "Chicken soup for the storage auction buyer's soul & TMZ"!!!!!!! I was preparing to go to some storage unit auctions with a friend to strike it rich like all those guys on the T.V. shows when this guys youtube channel pops up in my google search. You can tell Glendon has been in the storage auction biz for a long time. I thought he had some good stories on his channel, but the stuff in this book makes those gossip mag's at the grocery stores seem like children's books! The title is actually a running joke that he shares in the book. Knocked this book out in 3 days.It was like crack, I couldn't stop reading it. I had an hour drive and had my girlfriend read me the last chapters. She was laughing out loud and really into the juicy stories she wanted to know what she was reading. Actually educational and inspiring if you plan on getting into storage auctions. I really enjoyed this book. Glendon has a way of pulling you into the locker and making you feel like your going threw the unit together . It's like your right there while he's cracking jokes and tripping out when you find the unexpected. There was one chapter that was repeated in the book but it was so nice he had to use it twice!!!!!!
This book was so awesome! You need two books on storage auctions - this one and one other. I say one other because this book is more of a memoir vice a how to book, but don't let that fool ya. This is an awesome read. Real war stories of a storage auction hunter and darn funny to boot! The author doesn't hold anything back - he tells you the real deal! This is a book you can reread and enjoy it over and over again - it will never go stale. Five stars.
